THE African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD), with the support of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), on Saturday, 15th August 2026, graduated 90 participants of the 24th Set of its Leadership School in Abuja.

In a statement issued by the Acting Director of Leadership of the Centre, Lawal Amodu noted that the event marks another milestone in Centre LSD’s sustained commitment to developing a new generation of ethical, strategic, accountable, and development-oriented leaders capable of contributing to positive transformation in Nigeria.

The graduation ceremony, which also featured a keynote presentation on “Leadership, Tax and Development in Nigeria,” provides an opportunity for the graduating leaders and other stakeholders to engage critically with this pressing issue in Nigeria today.

The graduating participants, drawn from diverse professional, institutional and social backgrounds, have undergone intensive training in leadership, governance, strategy, development and related areas, and are expected to take the knowledge, values and competencies acquired at the Leadership School into their workplaces, communities and wider society and use them to promote accountable leadership and sustainable development.

The event brought together the graduating students, policymakers, tax experts, civil society organizations, academics, private sector representatives, development partners, Centre LSD Leadership School Alumni and other stakeholders. The graduation of the 24th Set expands Centre LSD’s growing community of Leadership School alumni to 3,406.
